Meet Michael
Start here.
Ischia — June 2026
Most people in my life know me as Mike.
On here, you'll know me as Michael.
My birth certificate says "Michael," and my headstone will, too.
On a recent trip, my wife showed me Austin Kleon's book 'Show Your Work.'
I read it, and I decided to do exactly that. So, I made this blog.
This is the book (and the place where I read it for the first time in Ischia).
Work takes many forms.
At times, it can feel overwhelming, especially when you've put it all in separate boxes.

I want this blog to be one big box, featuring a bit of everything I dedicate my time to.
If you're a stranger, I'm excited to change that.
